Creative Writing Corner ( Best for Ages 10+): A virtual program that discusses short stories, poetry, and how literary devices affect the meaning and tone of writings. Videos premiere on RCPL Facebook and RCPL YouTube once a month. Some videos will be accompanied by links to download worksheets to aid participation.

Your Library at Home (LIVE PROGRAM)

Your Library At Home (All Ages): Your Library at Home is an instructional series of how-to videos assisting parents and families with creating a storytime at home. Each installment will teach families how to add elements of early literacy to circle time at home. Learn how to create felt board stories, pick picture books for your child’s reading level, compose a storytime, and read aloud like a children’s librarian. Videos can also be found on the RCPL Facebook and RCPL Youtube page.
