All seven libraries of the RCPL system are dedicated to bringing educational and entertaining services to children and young adults.
Each library emphasizes service to children from birth through fifth grade. Every library has a special area set aside for children, including books, maps, games, and audiovisual material. We frequently have magicians, music, visiting storytellers, animal programs, or other events.
All seven libraries have storytimes for preschoolers and school-age children. Contact the library of your choice for days and times.
The libraries also participate in the statewide Summer Reading Program in order to encourage reading among school-age children from toddlers through middle school.
