Northstar Online Learning: Home

Randolph County Public Libraries now offers Northstar Digital Literacy Assessment. This is a free learning tool designed to help people acquire or improve their basic digital skills needed to seek, obtain, and retain employment.

As we emerge post COVID a critical foundation for employment is digital literacy and this service will help improve your computer skills and show employers what you know. We will be offering Northstar’s proctoring service so that you may earn certificates that can be added to your resume to give it a boost.

They offer 14 online, self-guided modules:

Get Started

You can access the library’s Northstar 3 different ways:

1.  Click Northstar Digital Literacy RCPL to go directly to our location. Create a free learner account or sign in.

2. Go to www.randquest.org. Select “Jobs & Careers’ or “Online Learning” on the left-hand side of the page to find Northstar.

 

 

3. Go to digitalliteracyassessment.org. Scroll down the page to “Take an Assessment” and enter the library’s 4-digit PIN (WBNE).

 

*Northstar does not require an account to take an assessment, but you will not have access to tutorials or have any information saved without creating a free learner account. Ask us how!
