Pictorial (circa 1950) published by The Courier-Tribune newspaper; 48 pages of information and images of manufacturing, mercantile and other buildings with business leaders as well in every town in the county.

Student Works -
Through the years a number of student works covering the history of Randolph County have been donated to the Randolph Room. These were completed as part of their courses of study in the local public schools (junior high school, most likely 8th grade), with the possible exception of the D.R. Hill book. While some topics are repeated, their treatments differ and each contributes to an understanding of the history of the County, the place that local history has held in the public school curriculum and often include unique original items (photographs, maps, etc.). Their posting here does not reflect a judgment with regard to the accuracy of any specific content.

Gina Lawson - Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 (1969)
Inez McGrath - History of Ramseur (1918) - Inez Aurilla McGrath (1899-1993) was a student at Ramseur School when she wrote this history of the town; she later married Joseph J. Parks.
Cheryl Ward - Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 (1969)
Visiting with Ralph Bulla: Courier-Tribune articles, 1954-1987. Don Bulla compiled, typed and published a compilation of articles by his brother Ralph, producing a 1,576-page book in 2009. Scanned and made searchable by the Staff of the Randolph Room, published here with permission from their family, and available in seven sections by date: 1954-1959; 1960-1961; 1962-1964; 1965-1966; 1967-1968; 1969-1970; 1971-1972; 1973-1974; 1975-1976; 1977-1979; 1980-1981; 1982-1984; 1985-1987.
