The Randolph County Public Libraries Mobile Library Vision:
Vision: The Mobile Library is a vital resource that brings the joy of reading and learning to the residents of Randolph County of all ages and backgrounds where they are. The Mobile Library, therefore, removes a serious barrier to accessing public library resources.
To achieve this mission, the Randolph County Mobile Library will:
Provide access to books and other resources by having a wide variety of books and other materials available for checkout and access to the Internet.
Offer dynamic programs and services to patrons of all ages, such as story time for children, ‘mobile’ book clubs, computer classes, library card sign-ups and job search assistance.
Be a welcoming and inclusive space, staffed by friendly and helpful librarians who are committed to providing excellent service no different than offered at the public library branches.
Partner within the community with appropriate organizations to provide even more resources and opportunities for its patrons. This includes but is not limited to partnering with schools, community centers and non-profit organizations to offer programming and services around the county.
By working toward these goals, the Randolph County Mobile Library can make a real difference in the lives of its patrons and the community as a whole.
